An application that emulates different operation systems on the base of the Windows.
A Virtual machine is a software or hardware environment which executes some code (e.g. byte-code, sheet-code, p-code or a machine code of a real processor) or a such system specify (e.g. Virtual machine for C-programming).
Often, the virtual machine emulates a real computer. You can install the operating system on the virtual machine, as well as on a real computer, the virtual machine also has a BIOS, RAM, hard disk drive (allocated space on the hard drive of the real computer), it also can be emulated some peripherals. One computer can operate multiple virtual machines.
